Record Verification

Record Verification tracks manual checks for records after imports, cleanup, and module review.

Verification fields

• Module and entity type identify the area being checked.
• Entity id and entity label are optional references to the source record.
• Verification scope describes what must be confirmed.
• Checklist stores the human review items as JSON.
• Status records whether the record is pending, verified, needs update, rejected, or expired.

Permissions

Creating verification work requires data_quality.manage. Completing verification checks requires data_quality.verify.

Safety

Verification status changes do not automatically mutate the referenced record. Staff must update the source record through its owning module and permissions.
