Task Management

The Tasks module coordinates internal work across modules without mutating linked business records.

Workflow

1. Create a task with title, status, priority, owner, due date, source module, optional source entity, description, and notes.
2. Review /dashboard/tasks, /dashboard/tasks/my, /dashboard/tasks/overdue, and /dashboard/tasks/assigned-by-me.
3. Open a task detail page to inspect source context, status, priority, due date, comments, and developer details.
4. Mark complete only when the work is actually done.

Permissions

• tasks.view can view task queues.
• tasks.manage can create and edit tasks.
• tasks.assign can assign or reassign tasks.
• tasks.complete can complete assigned or role-permitted tasks.

Boundary

Task creation, editing, and completion never approve quotes, confirm payments, execute imports, send messages, close tickets, update projects, or overwrite linked records automatically.
