Manager onboarding gives a General Manager a safe first path through Submicron Central System. It focuses on comprehension, review queues, source links, non-destructive actions, and reporting friction.

First Day Rehearsal

  1. Sign in locally or over LAN.
  2. Open Command Center and review Work Coordination, Data Quality, Agents, Communications, Finance, Project, Support, and Inventory cards.
  3. Review the separate High-priority tasks section in Command Center before routine task queues.
  4. Open Tasks and inspect one task detail page.
  5. Open Approval Center and verify action summary, safety summary, source context, and domain approval bridge cards.
  6. Use the notification bell to review unread internal notifications, then open Notification Center and follow one source link.
  7. Open Settings / My Role and confirm visible permissions.
  8. Open Communication Outbox and confirm manual-only copy/send boundary.
  9. Review the Logistics/Fleet readiness placeholder in Command Center, one logistics task, one delivery evidence notification, and one logistics approval placeholder.
  10. Submit one rehearsal feedback item as a System QA issue if anything is confusing.

What Managers Can Do

  • Read cross-module health.
  • Create and manage tasks if permissioned.
  • Record approval decisions if permissioned.
  • Mark internal notifications read or archived.
  • Add internal comments and mentions.
  • Review settings, roles, permissions, workflow rules, feature flags, logs, and health.
  • Review logistics readiness placeholders in tasks, approvals, notifications, settings, and Command Center.
  • Report feedback as System QA.

What Managers Cannot Do Automatically

  • Send external messages.
  • Approve quotes through a generic approval without using the quote workflow.
  • Confirm payments or issue receipts through a task or notification.
  • Execute imports without import-specific approval and execute permissions.
  • Merge duplicates automatically.
  • Close projects or support tickets through approval records alone.
  • Enable external integrations or production deployment.
  • Track vehicles by GPS, use maps APIs, run a driver app, or send automated delivery messages.
