Technical and Commercial Proposal Summary Guide

Sprint 22 adds draft-only technical and commercial proposal summaries for deals and quote sets.

Proposal summaries are stored as AgentWorkflowDraft records with source links to the deal and quotes. The summary includes executive summary, customer requirement, technical basis, system options, commercial comparison, recommendation, budget tradeoffs, performance/risk notes, exclusions/assumptions, payment/warranty summary, and next step.

Sprint 22B makes summaries visible from both Deal detail and Quote detail. A manager can open either source record and see whether a technical/commercial proposal summary exists, its status, source deal/quote-set context, and the next review link.

Quote-set generation warns when no single recommended quote exists or multiple quotes appear recommended. Recommended quotes use APPROVED; customer-selected quotes use ACCEPTED.

Every draft includes: AI-generated draft for human review. Not sent or applied automatically.

Review Boundary

Approval records human review only. It does not send messages, approve quotes, change prices, confirm payments, create projects, mutate records, or publish documents.

Approved summaries may later be used by humans to generate a customer-facing document in a future sprint.
