Comments and Mentions

Sprint 21 adds record-linked internal comments and mentions for task and approval records.

Behavior

• Comments attach to a source module, entity type, and entity id.
• Mention syntax uses @Name or @First Last.
• Matching active users receive internal notifications.
• Comments create activity logs.

Permissions

• comments.view can view internal comments.
• comments.manage can create internal comments and mention notifications.
• mentions.view can view mention-related surfaces.

Boundary

Comments and mentions remain internal. They do not send external messages, update linked records, change approvals, or trigger autonomous actions.
