CRM Record Comments

Sprint 21C adds CRM detail pages for companies, leads, and opportunities so managers can discuss key CRM records without leaving the system.

Where Comments Appear

• /crm/companies/[id]
• /crm/leads/[id]
• /crm/opportunities/[id]

The list pages link each record title to its detail page. The detail pages show the record summary, related CRM/operational links where permission allows, recent CRM activity, and the shared Internal comments panel.

Mention Behavior

Comments are internal-only. When a user writes a valid @mention, the system creates an internal notification for the matched active user and records an activity log. No email, WhatsApp, SMS, push notification, or external message is sent.

Boundaries

CRM comments do not change lead stage, opportunity value, quote status, invoice status, project status, or support status. They are discussion and audit context only.

Users still need the relevant CRM and comments permissions to view or add comments.
